One list, one handy best friend.

Bad break up, check. Best friend to take you out and get you drunk, check. Writing a sex to do list while drunk, check. Going for it with a bad boy, check.
Would you follow through on a sex to do list that you wrote when you were drunk? This is the dilemma that Josie faces when she sobers up the next day. But what is more mortifying is that her best friend Sally’s brother who is also her friend has found the list.
I loved this book. It was a fun and refreshing spin on the off limits friend trope. From the moment I started the book till the very last page I was hooked. Okay and Mack was extremely hot and talented. Very, very talented. Who would expect a hard working veterinarian to be such a bad boy between the sheets.
Josie, who is leaving for London in two weeks, has just ended a long relationship and flees to her best friend’s house, the plan is to stay till she leaves, catch up and have some fun. She’s off on an adventure soon, the last thing she planned was to have rebound sex as Sally keeps telling her she needs. She hadn’t also planned on writing that damn list either.
Mack, Mack, Mack. The man who burnt his bed after his long-time girlfriend dumped him, is a great vet, hot, lives and works with his sister who has been telling him since his break up that he should be indulging in rebound sex to bring him out of his funk. But poor Mack’s libido has fled after being called nice and sweet as his ex walked out the door.
When Mack casually states after reading Josie’s list that she is not the type of girl who would follow through on it, Josie doesn’t take it well and this leads to a super-hot confrontation between the two. When the dust settles from it and they come to an agreement to work on her list for her remaining two weeks.
No feelings, no strings, just ticking items off the list and showing Josie that sex can be more than beige. And they quickly get around to marking things off. With each encounter getting hotter and hotter.
“Hold onto my shoulders.” “Because I’m about to number ten you, and at some stage, you will lose the ability to hold yourself upright.”
But the inevitable happens and they start to fall for each other. But can they overcome their past relationships, his sister’s worry that she will have to take sides if it fails to find the happy ever after that is standing waving its arms at them or will they decide it was just a rebound fling after all?
There was so much I loved about this book. The humour and banter between them, the sizzling chemistry, the hot sex and I do mean hot, think mutual masturbation hot and the tenderness that is there even when they are trying to keep it out of the fling.
“Josie was going to complete the list-come hell or high water. Or dislocated hip.”
There is a scene that almost made me cry it was heartbreaking to read and Mack’s reaction to it was, ugh, I wanted to hug him sooooo bad. But by the end of the book I was sitting here with a smile from ear to ear and sniffling happy sniffles.
I am already looking forward to more from this author for the Brazen line and think it’s time for a re-read already.

I seriously loved No More Mr. Nice Guy by Amy Andrews. Mack Kennedy is one of my favorite Brazen heroes because he's real. He's not some crazy strong dominating alpha who has to have things his way. He's not a guy who is broken and needs to be put back together again because of a tragic past or horrible upbringing. He's simply a really nice guy who got cheated on and is trying to deal with it. Mack is everything I could want in a man. He's nice, but has the ability to dominate and talk dirty when the time calls for it. He's compassionate and caring. And oh my gosh, he has an Australian accent.
Josie Butler as with a lot of heroines I’ve read, doesn't want to be her mother. Growing up, Josie watched her mother go from man to man, looking for love in all the wrong places. Josie resigned herself to having a nice safe man in her life. So, for the last five years, she did. But when her boyfriend proposed, she realized she didn’t have passion in her life or love for him the way he deserved to be loved. So, she broke things off.
During a night of drinking with her best friend Sal, Mack’s younger sister, she creates a sexual to-do list. The list is made up of things that would allow Josie to step out of the “good girl” role she has always been in her whole life. In her mind, she needs to have a “bad boy” to help her fulfill the items on the list. In an embarrassing moment, Mack finds her list and realizes he is the man who can help her check items off the list.
What transpires between Mack and Josie is simply amazing. Josie helps Mack get over his broken heart and Mack helps Josie to explore her sexual side. Neither expected what was supposed to be a short fling to turn into more.
I’m so looking forward to more from Amy.

Hot and sexy perfection

Whoever said nice guys were boring hasn't met Mack Kennedy. Because this Mr. Nice Guy may be a compassionate, thoughtful, gentle Veterinarian, but is also a Mr. Dirty Boy and he is bloody sexy. I will happily confess to being a sucker for a man who Australian, kind, skilled with his mouth and loves his animals.
“I swear I will talk so dirty to you, you’ll be in a state of constant arousal...”
When Josie Butler's long-term relationship ends, she moves in with her best-friend Sal and brother Mack. Five years with a once a week missionary man has left her desperate to inject some sizzle to her sex life, and whilst drunk she makes a to-do list...which Mack finds, along with a book detailing every position under the sun. There's teasing, but when she takes herself off to find her fun, the beast that has been asleep in Mack since his own bad break-up is roused. They've known each other for fifteen years and they're close, but they're about to get closer...

I loved Mack and Josie together. They have 2 weeks before Josie leaves for London and they make fine use of every single second. Their sexcapades are just panty-melting and I loved how confident, comfortable and fun loving they were with each other. I laughed at their banter, sighed and swooned over Mack's exceptional skills and had a little cry at the heartfelt. It packs all the feels.
Amy Andrews isn't a new author to me and I know she does sexy, but this is by far the hottest I've read. She has brought us a fun, entertaining, scorching hot read with an injection of sweet that I didn't want to end and when I'd finished I may have been a little cheeky and asked her if we are going to be treated to Sal's story. The answer? YES *happy dance* and from what we have seen of her personality, her love for Mack and Josie, their sparring and glimpse of her past, I absolutely cannot wait. Impatient? Me? Damn right.
“...I feel like I’ve been hit by a Mack truck. And I want to do it all over again.”
