Getting back to needed foundations

Having heard the author in live settings and having read other books by her I find myself being challenged and refreshed again with the foundational truths she writes about in this book. We live in a day when a renewed understanding of discipleship is needed this book can help lead the way.

Joy is an amazing teacher!

I had the privilege of meeting Joy Dawson in a small gathering of 8 Asian American leaders. She spoke into our lives and mentored us for a couple of hours in the ways of God. After that I bought 3 of her books and started reading them. All the books are very insightful and I've been learning a great deal. I highly recommend ALL of Joy's books! ~KC

Makes you think

I really liked this book. I haven't read any of Joy's books in the past - this was my first. She did an excellent job discussing scripture and addressing every day life. She also made me "think." I like books that make me "think" and "ponder" life and my spiritualism.
